To Katherine Catanzarite, Elizabeth Traub, and People who really still care about the future of Vallejo & Vallejo Schools!

Declining enrollment results in more layoffs and will occur over the next several years – tho the district admins may see this as a minor issue to be ignore, this is a real runaway train!

the enrollment of Vallejo Schools in 1992 was 19,103, while the population of Vallejo is 110,192

In 2001, the enrollment of Vallejo Schools was 20,245, while the population of Vallejo is 116,443

In 2004, after Dr. Damelio came in, the enrollment of Vallejo Schools was 19,201, while the population of Vallejo remains at 120,342

PRESENT DAY 2009: After Dr. Damelio switch to part time plus hiring more incompetent admins and laying off passionate teachers & support employees, the enrollment of Vallejo Schools was 15,880, while the population of Vallejo remains at 119,981

As I watched this video and listened to what Katherine was saying, the demonstration brought tears to my eyes. I saw the faces of teachers who have already been pink-slipped still fighting for the truth.

I pray that one day the administrative greed and shell games will come to an end.

The bottom line is, we need the money to go to classrooms, teachers and support staff.

Dr. Bull doesn’t even know that the other 19 admins created a wall between her, so that Dr. Bull & the school board stays ignorant while the 19 admins run this district with conflicting plans that can cause a 2004 meltdown in the future….

Only if Dr. Bull can get out of her office, spend at least one hour or more at some random school site, then she’ll see the issues and get pissed at the “gang of 19″ for misinforming her why these issues aren’t still resolved!

What I will do as a future Vallejo School Board member is to break down all barriers and unite all admins, school board, dr. bull, teachers, parents, and students under one common goal for the future! We don’t need 19 conflicting goals!

Come to the May 20 School Board meeting, for I will speak in depth about the long term viability of this district and its possible demise if nothing improves or changes in 10 years! ALSO INVITE parents and community members if possible!

If anyone can invite Dr. Goldstone (former Vallejo Superintendent Maverick & Vallejo resident/ tax payer) to the meeting and criticize Dr. Bull, that will really help towards change in the future!
