This blog was created in the hopes that the teachers of Vallejo would engage in discussion on those issues that important to them. That being said, we do ask that those choosing to post their comments do so with the following in mind: keep it honest, respect the opinions of others – especially if they disagree with you, and treat others with dignity. It is very easy to hide behind the computer screen and forget that all of us have something in common. We choose to teach in Vallejo because we care about the students of Vallejo. Our first priority should be to lead by example.
The rules of this blog will be as follows:
- Refrain from using derogatory or inflammatory language. Doing so may result in banning from posting to this blog.
- You do not have to post your e-mail address if you choose not to do so. (In the e-mail box, just put something like “anonymous@noemail.com). Likewise, if you choose to use a pseudonym, that is your choice.
- Once you have posted a comment, you comment will remain posted. This means do not hit “publish” unless you can own what you say!
- We welcome comments from Board Members and the Community.
- The blog is monitored. VEA reserves the right to ban anyone from this blog if they threaten, harass, or post derogatory comments. We do track ISP’s as this is standard practice to avoid being hit by trolls.
- Remember to play nice.
